Air duct inlet:

In order to transport the air to the brake ventilation outlet, a suitable inlet is essential. This is not so easy with the Golf 7 and the Seat Leon Cupra 5F. Every area behind the bumper is used and leaves no room for an additional duct without major modifications. However, all vehicles have one thing in common, regardless of the equipment and whether you have a manual transmission or DSG: a good spot on the underbody. At this point we can tap the air flow well and at the same time it is not the lowest point. Our duct is attached with 3 screws and allows a connection to our anchor plate via an air hose. Important: The hose routing must be carefully laid and can lead to chafing on the hose after a certain time due to many steering units up to the full lock.

Air duct outlet:

We use the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. We direct the air flow at a specific angle to avoid any scattering losses and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible. The lightweight construction in combination with powder-coated aluminum means that the component is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and insensitive. The ball joint of your wishbone is extremely close to the hot brake disc and will be affected over time. This anchor plate therefore has additional shielding of the bearing and thus increases its longevity.
