Air duct inlet:

In order to transport the air to the brake ventilation outlet, a suitable inlet is essential. The M2 F87 does not have any inlet channels in the front bumper as is the case with the M2 Competition F87N. What your car does have, however, are two coolers on the side behind the bumper! So why not use the existing air flow?

In order to prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel arch after the radiators, we have developed a guide channel that can be installed with minimal effort and guides the air around the wheel and connects a connection to the outlet via a 40 cm long hose (per side). Our tests have shown that this does not create any significant back pressure behind the radiator and in the case of extreme speeds and increasing pressure, the channels do not represent any obstacles to the escaping air behind the radiator.

Air duct outlet:

For many vehicles (such as the M2), brake cooling is recommended even under moderate loads, even outside of the race track. This not only improves braking performance, but also drastically reduces wear on the friction partners. Our anchor plate uses the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. We specifically flow the air onto the disc at a defined angle to avoid scattering losses and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible. The lightweight construction in combination with powdered aluminum means that the anchor plate is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and insensitive. In addition, the bearings closest to the brake disc are shielded from the heat to increase their service life (if necessary).
