Danger: This is not a plug & play component. This conversion requires extensive bodywork work. It is expressly recommended that this conversion be carried out by a specialist workshop or trained personnel.

Inspired by the successful Hyundai I30N TCR, a car that has been a success in motorsport, we have made it our mission to bring the advantages of such a vehicle to the road. Improved aerodynamics to get more grip on the road without reducing the drag coefficient.

Optionally, you can choose which level of expansion you want your vehicle to have. The entire wide body, or even just the wide body for one axle (front or rear).

Production after order and receipt of payment. Please note that delivery time can be 6-8 weeks.

Wide body – aerodynamic advantage

Viewed from the front, we shield the wheel to prevent contact with the rotating wheel. This avoids unnecessary turbulence and improves the drag coefficient. The rotating wheel creates excess pressure in the wheel housing, which pushes the fender upwards and thus raises the axle. This air is drawn out of the wheel housing through a large ventilation system, optimizing downforce on the front axle and increasing air circulation in the wheel housing, thus increasing the effectiveness of the brake cooling.

Wide body front:

The front part of the wide body consists of a complete fender and small attachments for the bumper. The old fender is simply replaced with the wide body fender and the bumper attachments are glued on. Key Facts:

  • The axle widens by around 30 mm per wheel: We deliberately chose this value because it allows us to use wider tires for more grip (up to 295 mm wide). This is also exactly the value that still makes sense in terms of axle kinematics. If the axle is made significantly wider, you have to drive with extreme spacers, which drastically changes the leverage and the forces acting, which can worsen the handling.
  • The parts are made of tested GRP and are delivered unpainted: a requirement of the TÜV for a parts certificate. The use of CFRP is not possible in this case.

Widebody Rear:

The rear part of the wide body consists of three parts per side. A small attachment for the door and two attachments for the fender and bumper. The attachments are glued on and can be driven as they are. However, we recommend cutting open the original fender below the wide body and sealing it so that you not only get the optical effect, but can actually drive wider tires on the rear axle without any problems. We clearly recommend that this work be carried out by a specialist workshop. Key Facts:

  • The axle widens by 30 mm per wheel: We deliberately chose this value because it allows you to use wider tires for more grip. Here we recommend either 245 tires with spacers or a maximum of 265 tires.
  • The parts are made of tested GRP and are delivered unpainted: a requirement of the TÜV for a parts certificate. The use of CFRP is not possible in this case.

Registration:

The wide body can be registered via an individual inspection with a material certificate linked to the chassis number.

Click here to the Hyundai I30n TCR rear wing

One of the most striking components from racing, for the road. We were not allowed to use the size of the wing of a TCR vehicle. However, we have pushed the limits of what was within the scope of TÜV conformity. Not only the wing is made of tested full carbon, but also the brackets. These are screwed to the trunk lid and stabilized with counter plates. The counter plates connect the two sheets of the trunk lid to each other on the inside to provide additional stability.

Since the Hyundai is known for its light rear end on the racetrack, we are remedying this by adding more downforce when braking and in fast corners, by increasing the contact pressure on the rear axle.

The wide body is suitable for

  • Hyundai I30N pre-facelift

The TCR rear wing is suitable for

  • Hyundai I30N pre-facelift and facelift models
